A: Doctors like to know as much as possible about your medical problems and your report gives them important information that they need to know. Doctors are used to seeing the terminology and formatting in your report. Your doctor will appreciate that you have taken the time to give him or her more information about your medical problems. Also, many doctors now use Electronic Medical Records (EMR). If your doctor uses an EMR, he or she may want you to send your report as a PDF in advance of your visit. This way, they can view your report in their EMR.

Most web browsers use 0.75 inches as the default setting so, typically, you shouldn't have to change your margin settings.
