MedEfficio is committed to the privacy, security and confidentiality of your personal information. We developed the system so that it does not store, share or sell your personal information. In fact, when you complete your report, your personal information is permanently deleted. This means that you maintain control of your personal information, and it remains private and confidential.
How does this site protect my personal information?
Unlike other sites, MedEfficio does not store, share or sell personal information. When you complete your report, your personal information is permanently deleted. To further protect you, the site will time-out if you become inactive while creating your report. If the site times-out, your personal information is permanently deleted. Because of this, you should complete your report in one sitting and, when you are done, make sure to save or print your report to avoid losing it.
How secure is MedEfficio?
MedEfficio is a secure system that uses state-of-the-art encryption technology. When you start to create your report, you will see a padlock in the bottom right of your screen. This means your session is secure. And, just like many online banking sites, security is authenticated by VeriSign, the leading secure sockets layer (SSL) certificate authority.
What data does this site collect?
MedEfficio helps you plan for and receive better doctor visits. One of the ways we do this is by providing you with helpful tips and information about your condition, as well as questions to ask your doctor about your condition.
To do this, the system looks at the reason for your doctor visit. This allows the system to generate relevant information that you can discuss with your doctor.
What about the medications I enter? How do you use that information?
We do not use this information in any manner. It is not stored, shared or sold. It is simply input by you so it can be a part of the report you give to your doctor. It's just an easy way for you to have all of your information in one place and you don't forget what medications you take or the dosages. Once you complete your report, or the system times-out, this information is permanently deleted.
